Manappuram Finance leads gainers in 'A' group


Jubilant FoodWorks, Muthoot Finance, Jaiprakash Associates and Bajaj Auto are among the other gainers. Non-banking financial services company Manappuram Finance spurted 14.39% to Rs 23.05 on bargain hunting after the stock slumped 33.50% in the preceding eight sessions to Rs 20.15 on 10 May 2012 from a recent high of Rs 30.30 on 28 April 2012. The stock topped the gainers in the BSE's 'A' group. The company will announce its year ended March 2012 results on 18 May 2012. Food service company Jubilant FoodWorks jumped 7.66% to Rs 1,131.45. The stock was second biggest gainer in 'A' group. The company announced during trading hours on Thursday, 10 May 2012, that its net profit rose 51.73% to Rs 29.33 crore on 46.13% rise in net sales to Rs 282.96 crore in Q4 March 2012 over Q4 March 2011. The stock had fallen 1.84% to Rs 1050.90 on Thursday in a weak market. Gold financing company Muthoot Finance galloped 4.52% to Rs 129.40. The stock was third biggest gainer in 'A' group. The company will announce its year ended March 2012 results on 15 May 2012. Infrastructure company Jaiprakash Associates rose 4.06% to Rs 62.85. The stock was fourth biggest gainer in 'A' group. India's second largest two-wheeler maker by sales Bajaj Auto rose 3.48% to Rs 1,555.20. The stock was fifth biggest gainer in 'A' group. The company will announce its year ended March 2012 results on 17 May 2012.
